LINOLEUM

Depending on their size, our beds are coated with up to 17m² of linoleum. The use of materials is exceptional in order to preserve the uniquely soft and natural feel of our beds.

Cleaning & Care of furniture linoleum

Furniture linoleum is a very easy-care material. This natural, slightly elastic material is still made from renewable raw materials. The recipe made from linseed oil, resins, wood and limestone powder creates antistatic properties "by nature" and makes fingerprints largely invisible.

maintenance cleaning

Daily maintenance cleaning is carried out with a soft, lint-free damp cloth.

In the case of light soiling, add a splash of neutral cleaning agent to the cleaning water if necessary. Heavy soiling can be removed with a neutral cleaning agent (diluted), then wipe the surface with clear water.

Furniture linoleum

Furniture Linoleum is made from renewable, natural raw materials. The basic ingredients include natural linseed oil, rosin, wood flour and natural pigments. As a result, Furniture Linoleum is biodegradable and does not pollute the environment at any stage of its life.

Production of the main materials

Linseed oil:

Linseed oil is obtained by pressing the seeds of the flax plant. After filtering, a clear golden yellow liquid remains.

Rosin:

Rosin is obtained by wounding jaws. The raw resin is collected and separated into turpentine and rosin by distillation.

wood flour:

Post-industrial, bio-based softwood waste from the timber industry that is ground into flour.

Resin:

A cationic polymerization reaction converts the hydrocarbon resin oil into a hard resin.

Calcium carbonate:

An abundant mineral found in all parts of the world as the main substance in rocks (e.g. marble and limestone). It can be ground to different particle sizes and is often used as a filler. Titanium Dioxide: A white pigment made from the mineral rutile, a naturally occurring form of titanium dioxide. The production of the pigment is a large-scale chemical process unlike various others

pigments:

The vast majority of color pigments used are based on iron oxide.

felt paper:

Fleece made from natural fibers (cellulose), reinforced with an aqueous polymer dispersion.

Paint:

The factory-applied paint is a cross-linked, water-based acrylic paint.

PRODUCTION:

The linoleum is produced in the Netherlands in Assendelft
